Description
Here is my interpretation of Coyote the Trickster, the main character of many Native American tales. This mask features a hinged jaw, faux bear claw earrings, and coyote fur trim. I looked at various native Inuit and Pacific Northwest masks as inspiration for the construction and decoration of Coyote.
The face of the mask was sculpted with Celluclay on a plaster base, painted with acrylics, and sealed.

One step further; could you articulate the intention behind the cross-breeding? A tale of your own?...
Thank you for making faces!
