Here it is, the final piece in my Jungle Book series. I've been working on this series for just about a year, and it feels so strange to be finished with it! I certainly had a lot of fun interpreting the characters from one of my favorite books. Thank you all for your encouragement, critiques, and discussions on this series!
You can find more info soon on my Tumblr.
Whoa you brought the jungle out in this picture! When I think of mowgli I think of the relatively cleaner version from the disney film. This one has a more realism to it. Would child who spent most of his life in a wolf pack grow up unscared?Hell no!This version mowgli looks pretty badass too like theirs a bit of tarzan in him.
Thanks so much! That is indeed what I was thinking when I decided to make him a little more "feral" looking. The Mowgli of the written story always had difficulty choosing between human society and jungle society, so I wanted to make him represent a little of both.
Fantastic! A wonderful conclusion for sure. I like how he is scratched and dirty and feral looking. And of course, Mowgli would have the fire!
Thank you! I wanted to include a little bit of "jungle" and a little bit of "man" since he is often pulled between the two.
Doh! I feel like I should have guessed this one.
Sad to see it end, great to see it completed!
